Definitely my top find for the moment, I Am Noxious is the new mystery of the British electro-pop, who goes by the name of Mr. T. With a sound well defined by his inspirations, ranging from Hot Chip to New Order, from LCD Soundsystem to The Magnetic Fields, to the more recent The Sound of Arrows or the always mentioned Daft Punk, the young producer exceeds comparisons creating original melodies saturated with emotion that linger in our heads for days. Indeed, if we close our eyes, the very voice of I Am Noxious reminds us of the fragile sweetness of Alexis Taylor or Erlend Øye’s whisper.

Erlend Oye

Erlend Øye is a Norwegian musician from Bergen, Norway best known for being part of the pop duoKings of Convenience together with Eirik Glambek Bøe. He has released one solo album, Unrest in 2003 and a mix CD in the DJ-Kicks series in 2004. Furthermore he has released his second album of the band The Whitest Boy Alive. He is influential in the European music scene and has a voice to bring down giants.
